Having grown out of the organic movement, Good Herdsmen has a loyal supplier base of over 200 organic farmers from all over the island. This loyalty is the result of 20 years’ undivided attention to developing the organic meat market, of assisting organic farmers in establishing their organic farming system, and of helping them to stock their farms.

The farms of the directors, totalling to more than 150ha, provide the much needed buffer to even out supply, and firm arrangements with farmers regarding winter finishing guarantee that Good Herdsmen is in a position to offer up to 11,000kg of organic beef and 2,000kg of organic lamb per week.
